quick question on supplements: citrulline malate and arginine
i am a 170 pound heavy lifter at 8% body fat. in addition to my regular whey/casein protein and BCAA's, i have been supplementing lately with a pure arginine supplement at 5 g per day 40 minutes per workout. i recently combined that with a pure citrulline malate supplement at 4g before, 4g during, and 2g after a workout. am i over-doing the NO production or is taking both of these a waste since one promotes arginine production and one IS arginine?
please advise.
